How to choose the right ladder length for a two-storey house
Measuring the height of your house accurately is near enough impossible to do on your own, so deciding on a ladder height can be particularly challenging. One way you can predict how tall your house is is by measuring your ceiling height and adding an extra meter (roughly three rungs) for a safe working area and handhold. This may not give you the most accurate measurement, but it will provide you with a rough ballpark of ladder lengths to look at.
