Aluminium roof ladders from Ladders UK Direct

When a task needs to be completed up on the roof, reducing the likelihood of a slip or fall should be your number one priority!

Our aluminium roof ladders are fitted with ridge hooks to grip the roof, while support bearers spread your weight evenly. Choosing a roof ladder will make sure you’re safe whilst also preventing damage to the roof you’re working on. Check the length and maximum weight capacity of your roof access ladder before placing your order.

If you need assistance, please contact the Ladders UK Direct team. We’re more than happy to help!

What is a roof ladder?

A roof ladder is a long ladder with ridge hooks on one end. The hooks can be used to secure the ladder, making this type of ladder ideal for accessing roofs.

What size roof ladder do I need?

Your roof ladder will need to be long enough to reach the roof ridge (i.e. the highest point of your roof). Our aluminium roof ladders come in a variety of reach heights, ranging from 3 metres to more than 8 metres.

How do you use a roof ladder?

First, make sure your ladder is long enough for the hooks to reach the roof ridge (if you have a double section roof ladder, it may need to be extended). Next, lock the safety clips in place and wheel the ladder up, flipping it over once you reach the highest point. Make sure the ladder is securely fastened before you start work.
